SMTP
Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is an Internet standard for electronic mail (e-mail) transmission across Internet Protocol (IP) networks.
What is roaming SMTP? |
Our Advanced and Exchange mailboxes include roaming SMTP, enabling you to send mail using email software on your PC, from wherever you're accessing the internet. With many email providers, you need to use your broadband provider's outgoing mail servers (SMTP), but with our Advanced and Exchangemialboxes you're not tied to your ISP. For example, if you use email software on a laptop (e.g. Outlook), you'll be able to send emails using different broadband connections. Pros: Very handy for those on the move, using a laptop or netbook at different locations, wanting to communicate and send emails.. |
