1. General Terms & Conditions

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By commissioning services, you confirm you’ve read and agree to these Terms. Work begins only after agreement. Pixelism may update these Terms; it’s your responsibility to review changes.

1.2 Project Commencement

Work begins once:

  • Deposit (if applicable) is received

  • Client provides all content and materials required

  • Project-specific requirements are fulfilled

1.3 Quotations & Pricing

  • Quotes valid for 30 days

  • Additional requests may change the quote

  • Monthly payment plans are available; ownership transfers after full payment

1.4 Payments

  • Deposits may be required (non-refundable)

  • Monthly plans available; full payment required for website ownership transfer

  • Hosting & maintenance fees apply post-project

  • Late payment may result in service suspension after 14 days

1.5 Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate content, respond promptly, and ensure rights for any third-party materials.

1.6 Intellectual Property & Licensing

  • Pixelism retains copyright until full payment

  • Licenses for software (Elementor Pro, premium plugins) remain with Pixelism

  • Clients must obtain licenses if moving hosting

1.7 Third-Party Services

  • Pixelism may purchase stock images or plugins “at cost” on client’s behalf

  • Clients are responsible for cost and renewal

1.8 Support & Maintenance

  • Reasonable support for Pixelism-provided services included

  • Issues outside scope may be assisted at Pixelism discretion

1.9 Termination

  • By client: unpaid projects remain Pixelism property; paid projects transfer after payment

  • By Pixelism: services may be suspended for non-payment or breaches

1.10 Liability & Disclaimer

  • Pixelism is not liable for indirect losses or third-party issues

  • Total liability limited to fees paid for the relevant service

1.11 Portfolio

  • Pixelism may showcase work; removal requests possible after three years

1.12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Web Design & Development Terms

2.1 Project Scope

Work follows agreed quotation; additional requests may incur charges. Pixelism not responsible for client delays.

2.2 Client Responsibilities

Clients provide all text, images, videos, access credentials, and specifications.

2.3 Payments & Deposits

  • Deposits may be required (non-refundable)

  • Monthly payment plans available; ownership transfers after full payment

  • Final milestones require payment before delivery/sign-off

2.4 Revisions & Additional Work

  • Set revisions included per quote

  • Extra revisions billed separately

2.5 Software Licensing

  • Licenses valid only while hosted/maintained by Pixelism

  • Non-transferable; clients must obtain own licenses if moving hosting

2.6 Content & Copyright

  • Clients retain copyright for content they provide

  • Pixelism retains copyright for original design until full payment

2.7 Portfolio

  • Projects may appear in Pixelism portfolio for marketing

  • Removal requests possible after three years

2.8 Project Completion

  • Completed when client approves final design and all payments are made

  • Progress images may be watermarked until approval

3. Hosting, Maintenance & Support Terms

Summary:

  • Hosting requirements, uptime, and backups

  • Maintenance & support scope

  • Payment, cancellation, and security policies

3.1 Hosting Services

  • All sites must be hosted with Pixelism

  • Hosting includes server management, backups, and security

  • Pixelism not liable for downtime outside our control

3.2 Maintenance & Updates

  • Updates for website core, plugins, security patches included (depending on hosting plan)

  • Reasonable support included; issues outside scope may be assisted at discretion

3.3 Payment & Cancellation

  • Monthly fees billed; payment due within 14 days

  • Non-payment may result in suspension

  • Cancellation requires 30 days’ notice; backup provided post-settlement

3.4 Fair Use

  • Reasonable use only; excessive or abusive requests may be refused

3.5 Security & Client Responsibility

  • Pixelism implements security measures

  • Clients responsible for passwords and access

  • Pixelism not liable for unauthorized access caused by client

3.6 Termination

  • Pixelism may suspend or terminate for non-payment or breaches

  • Clients may terminate with notice; backups provided after outstanding fees cleared
